Lush Haul | JamPacked June Day Thirty | AlexRocksXO

Aloha people.
I am so sorry that I've missed a few days of JJ again.. I had so much coursework to do and just didn't have the time to blog. But I am back for the final day of JamPacked June. It was definitely a bigger challenge than I expected but I did enjoy it and hope you enjoyed it too.
Yesterday I went to Westfield in London, and obviously had to pop into Lush. After I left Lush I walked around Westfield, and found nothing that I wanted (or that I could afford), so obviously I found myself back in Lush buying more things. I didn't buy much, but I thought I'd show you what I bought. :-)

Firstly I bought their 9-5 cleanser. This is a liquid cleanser, I use Herbalism and Angels on Bare Skin, but in the mornings and when I'm late they are a bit of a hassle to use, but I've used this last night and this morning and I really like it. It's just really easy and quick to use and I think that I'm going to like this.

Next I bought the Eau Roma Water. This is a toner, and I currently use Tea Tree Water, but the lady explained that this would be better for my skin. It has lavender water in which is soothing and calming and will balance out skin tones. It smells amazing and I really like this. I just spray some onto a cotton pad and wipe away any excess cleanser or mask that I have on. I tried this last night and today and it is really nice and the scent is really calming.

This was actually a free sample of the Cupcake face mask, it was made fresh in the store the first time I was in there, and then the second time I got to help make it, and got given two free samples :-). It doesn't look too great in the pot, but it smells amazing and it's a really nice product. I used this last night and tonight and my skin feels really smooth and looks brighter. It's a fresh face mask so they do go off quite quickly so I'll be sure to use it up quickly.

Lastly I bought a Mr Bumble. This little guy is so cute, and also contains a 75g piece of Honey I Washed The Kids, which is a toffee and honey scented soap, and is amazing. It also contains a Honey Bee bath bomb, which I just used half of in my bath and turned my water yellow, and has a similar scent to the soap. I also get to keep the little bee scarf thing, which I love and will probably add to my bag or something. What do you think?

A quick update as the day looms.. Tomorrow is the day we lose gfc, and not all of you have transferred over to BlogLovin, and I don't want to lose any of you.. So be sure to come over to BlogLovin

So that's it for this haul, and the end of JamPacked June, I've really enjoyed this and thanks for sticking around. Did you enjoy it? Shall I do another month of daily posting? Maybe not July though, I think I need a break :-P
Thanks for reading and make sure to leave a comment below. Have you tried any of these products? What do you think?
See you tomorrow guys!

Batiste - Is it worth the hype? | JamPacked June Day Twenty Five | AlexRocksXO

Aloha people.
Look the greeting is still going. Guess it's here to stay eh? I am also mobile posting today oooh techy. I've been super busy today and I'm actually lying on the sofa in my PJ's watching Big Brother; multitasking to the max. The other day I bought a sample size of Batiste dry shampoo, because everyone online raves about it and I thought I'd try it out. So is it worth the hype?

Warning rubbish iPhone grainy picture alert;

I bought the tropical scent, for no other reason that it has coconut in it and it's one of my favourite scents.

So the sample size is 50ml, and it lasted 3 uses which was pretty disappointing and I wasn't amazed by the actual product.

I use a lot of product in my hair and maybe that is why the results weren't as amazing as people say online, but to me, it left my hair dusty and like someone had thrown flour over me.. Plus it didn't leave my hair feeling refreshed or clean, just a bit murky..

I'm tempted to repurchase in a different scent but I don't know whether it's worth it. Have you used Batiste before? What do you think of it? I may try the version that gives you texture but still on the fence.

Thanks for reading guys and I'll see you tomorrow!

P.S Don't forget to follow me over on BlogLovin. GFC is leaving in a couple of days and I don't want to lose you all :-(
P.P.S I hope this post looks okay.. I can't preview on my phone so fingers crossed it looks fabulous.

A night out with mum | JamPacked June Day Twenty | AlexRocksXO

Hi guys. Tonight me and mum got home and just decided to do something together. We haven't done stuff together for ages and thought why not go for a meal.

We went to Frankie & Bennys and it was amazing. The food in there is always so good.
I had a BBQ pork pasta bake which was amazing and a apple and rhubarb crumble with custard. A-maz-ing.

Me and mum had a great catch up and had a right giggle spotting shoes from Clarks; because I work there I spot people in our shoes all the time and can't help but point them out..
Here are some pictures from tonight.

Thanks for reading guys and I'll see you tomorrow!

Wishlist Wednesday - Shoes | JamPacked June Day Nineteen | AlexRocksXO

Hi guys. Day 19 of JJ, and I say that it's going really fast everyday so maybe I should say something else..
I have no idea what to say so lets just get down to the post :-)

Today I'd like to introduce a new segment for Wednesdays, and this is "Wishlist Wednesday" loving that alliteration there.. I'm always online looking at clothes, shoes, new beauty products and just things that catch my eye, and I thought I'd give you a look in to what I'm thinking about buying. Today I've been longing after shoes and although I cant afford them, I can dream. So here they are!

So I work at Clarks, and I saw these in the catalogue when the first came in and thought nothing of them.. As I saw them on the internet and people wearing them my love for them grew and they are now waiting for me to buy in store. I had to order them in because we don't stock them, but they are waiting out back, and they are so beautiful.

I have these boots in cherry red, and now they are totally broken in they are so comfortable. Unfortunately they don't go with many outfits, so I thought a black pair would be perfect. But with a price tag of £100 I'm a little hesitant. I'm thinking they are more of a winter shoe? What do you think?

T.U.K - Black Suede Creepers
I've been longing after a pair of creepers for a good year now.. But being 6ft3 I don't really think I need extra height? If for not that reason they are really expensive and I've heard the soles can break quite easily.. It's quite a bit of money for something that may break? Have you had creepers? Have they broken or are they still in one piece?

Converse - White High Tops
Definitely need a pair for summer! I love them and the white is so crisp and fresh for summer. I have a black pair but they are too small for me now :-( so I think that is a good excuse to get a new pair ;-)

That's all for this weeks wishlist guys.
Are you looking forward to this segment? I've done wishlists in the past but I'm excited to make them a weekly thing and hope you are too.
As always thanks for reading guys and don't forget to give me a follow on BlogLovin!
See you tomorrow guys.

"If I Had £50" TAG | JamPacked June Day Eighteen | AlexRocksXO

Hi guys, I've decided to make a tag.. I don't know if this is a thing but I thought it was a cool idea so I thought I'd make a tag anyway. Also, day 18 of JJ, it's going crazy fast.

Here are the rules:

  1. Pick a shop any shop. Whatever that shop is you have £50 to spend. Pick whatever you want. (Clothing shops may not work as well because sometimes it costs £50 for one thing)
  2. The title of the post must be " "If I had £50" TAG " so people know what the post is about.
  3. You must state that this post was created by me AlexRocksXO
  4. Thank who tagged you. It's just polite :-)
  5. Tag at least one person.
  6. Copy and paste the rules onto the top of your post.
That's it. Simple rules. You can set the post out however you want, like mine or however you want. I hope you enjoy this tag and I'll see you after I've pretended to spend £50.
All prices correct at time of posting.

______
As you can see I chose The Body Shop. I'm currently obsessed and I would love to spend £50 in their. Lets do this!

These are currently on offer for £5 at the moment and I smelled all of them in my local store, and I want them all.  I've bought blueberry but these are the ones at the top of my shopping list. All three of them smell amazing and its a Body Shop Body Butter, they are all amazing.

Rainforest Shine Shampoo & Conditioner
I've never used a Body Shop shampoo or conditioner, but I've heard from a couple of people that they are pretty good. I'm starting to use less product in my hair now.. So I want to get back that natural shine so my hair looks in better condition, and if this stuff is as good as I've heard it is then hopefully it would look great.

I use this stuff every day after cleansing in the evening and sometimes in the morning if I have time (as I am normally in a huge rush) and I'm running out :-( so I need a new pot.. Anyone fancy buying me one?

I've never really used toners, but I currently use LUSH Tea Tree Water, and I did notice a change in my complexion and my skin did become clearer, so I thought  I should try some others out to see how they suit my skin.

I was recommended this in the shop for clearing blackheads. It is their roughest exfolator for the face, and was just told to use it on the places I get the most blackheads and greasy skin; so my nose, chin and maybe my forehead. The £13 price tag is a little off-putting but if it works I'm happy to pay.

So who do I tag?

Thanks for reading people. Make sure if you are enjoying JamPacked June to follow me on BlogLovin (link is in the sidebar) and I will see you all tomorrow for day 19.
Love you all.

A Very Chilled Evening | JamPacked June Day Seventeen | AlexRocksXO

Ah hello people, its day 17 of JamPacked June and its coming to a close, but we still have lots more days to go. How are you liking the daily posting?

Tonight I came home, and just, really fancied a chill out night. Nothing to do but lounge around on my bed, have some food and a bath and watch some crappy telly.
After I had had a little chat with mum about both of our days I had a snack and came upstairs and jumped into bed, grabbed my DS and put on Animal Crossing. I want the new version but it's for 3DS and I have a DSlite, but the game on the normal DS is still so great. I probably sat there for about 3 hours playing, scrolling through Facebook and BlogLovin' (and you can follow me on BlogLovin' HERE) and just generally chilled out. I had a really nice dinner of cod fillet, creamy mash and peas :-) also with a parsley sauce and it was de-lic-ious and then I came back upstairs, and guess what.. Played more Animal Crossing.. (Slightly addicted)
I ran myself a bath as it hit 9pm and this is definately my favourite time of day; to chill out, listen to my favourite music and to get squeaky clean. I bought a Radox Bath Smoothie today and oh my god it smells divine. It made bubbles also, which are essential for a bath, and I just chilled out and used some of my favourite products, which include LUSH Herbalism, The Body Shop Blueberry Body Butter and Original Source Mint Shower Gel.

Tonight was, as you can plainly see, very chilled; so I thought this called for a laid back text post.
Just also to say hello to all of you! My blog is gaining popularity and it's all thanks to you.
So to all followers, readers new and old, thank you for reading and I will hopefully see you tomorrow!
Bye guys

Dad | JamPacked June Day Sixteen | AlexRocksXO

Hi guys.
You may guess by the title that this a post about my dad, after all it is fathers day and although I couldn't get a present down to him I thought I'd dedicate a blog post to him. HAPPY FATHERS DAY DAD!
This post contains stuff about my life. A quick heads up... But it isn't heavy or depressing. Enjoy :-)

My parents split up when I was five, and I moved in with my mum and saw my dad every weekend. Even though they were apart I had constant contact with him, and he's never ever let me down. We've all moved about quite a lot, I was born in Watford, then I moved to Southend, and then Harlow. My dad stayed in Watford and when I was eleven he moved to Cornwall.. This was a huge change for me and although where he was moving to was lovely, I was scared I wouldn't see him as much, and I was preeeetty upset.. But like I said he has never let me down and he came and picked me up on a Friday after school, and would take me home on the Sunday morning. The weekends we spent in Cornwall together we found some amazing places and views I can never forget.

My dad taught me photography, bought me my first digital camera when I was about seven and taught me how to use it. Then about 3 years ago I think he bought me my DSLR camera, which I still use now. He was also a photographer so maybe it runs in the blood? But my dad inspires me to strive to be the best I can with my photography and encourages me to excel in what I can do. He also bought me a new lens last year and gave me some of his old photography equipment and I'm starting to build up a bit of a collection..

Dad you really are amazing, and I love you.
^ Look a baby me and dad in Brighton. ^

Thanks for reading guys. Another totally different post to what I usually do but I really enjoyed writing this. It's just a little more you know about my life.. If you enjoy this kind of post then let me know in the comments below.
See you tomorrow.

2 Years of Instagram | JamPacked June Day Fifteen | AlexRocksXO

Hi guys and welcome to day 15 of JJ, halfway through already.. It's going fast.
So tonight I didn't get home till gone 7pm, then I had some dinner and watched Big Brother and then realised it was 10pm.. So I had to think of a post to do tonight, and I wanted to feature something different to what I normally post. So I was scrolling through my instagram feed and then it hit me.. I've been using Instagram for over 2 years and I decided to see what I've done in 2 years. (It's not exactly 2 years but close enough) So I had a flick through 1209 photos, and picked 12 that best document my life in the past 2 years.

Top Left - 62 weeks ago - This was around 5 in the morning I think on the way back from my dads house, he lives in Cornwall so it's a pretty big every other weekend, but now because of college and work I don't see him as much which is sad :-(. But I am seeing him for both of our birthdays in July so that's good and I'm really excited :-).
Top Middle - 58 weeks ago - Bushkin came home. Bushkin was originally my sisters cat. She's lived in Brixton, Southend, Harlow, Chesunt, but now she's back where we live where she spent most of her life. She went to stay with my sisters dad for a while because the flat my sister lived in wouldn't allow cats. But he gave her back to us :-)
Top Right - 58 weeks ago - When I am down in Cornwall, we take our 3 dogs to the beach and to the woods, but sometimes have a really nice drive with everyone (me, my dad, my step mum Trudy, and my little brother Jack) (Not forgetting Archie Rocky and Bracken) and find a really nice beach or a woodland area and just chill, have a stroll around and enjoy the views. It's all extra lovely for me because I live in the city and don't see much of the beaches, but they all see it every day, which is totally amazing.
Bottom Left - 55 weeks ago - This weekend was amazing, it was the sunniest weekend we'd had in ages and I spent it with all of my best friends. On the Saturday literally everyone I know went to a local field and just had a right laugh. Then on the Sunday me and Amy went to Tesco woaah so exciting.. and got some yum food then I think we had a BBQ back at her house.. I can't remember if we did or not?
Bottom Middle - 50 weeks ago - This was prom night ♥ One of the best nights ever, this photo was taken with one of my favourite people ever, Georgia. I don't see her much anymore but she's an amazing person and I love her loads. This photo just totally sums up our friendship.
Bottom Right - 48 weeks ago - I dyed my hair blonde.. I don't know why, maybe it was the rebellious teen in me trying to get out, clearly I'm not much of a rebellious kid. Turns out I loved my blonde hair and have been very tempted to do it again.. What do you think of it?

Top Left - 39 weeks ago - Born This Way Ball. Another one of the best nights of my life. Gaga was perfect all the way through and I met some amazing people that night. One I will never forget.
Top Middle - 25 weeks ago - I saw Azealia Banks. This was an absolutely amazing concert and was so small and intimate but that's what made it amazing. I went with Georgia and Azealia actually looked me in the eye during one of her songs "Chips" and I kind of died.. She also retweeted me wooo I'm famous now.
Top Right - 23 weeks - A very drunken image from New Years Eve. This was about 3 in the morning and I found a broken umbrella on the way home so decided to take it and carry it all the way home.. I found it on top of a car the next day whooooops..
Bottom Left - 20 weeks ago - I went to the BGT auditions with my friend Connor. It was an amazing day and we saw some of the full finalists which was really cool.
Bottom Middle - 7 weeks ago - My current favourite picture of Bushkin and also the image on my bank card. She was just so chilled and I opened my front door and she looked up at me like "Oh hello look at me" (talk of the devil she just popped in to say hello :-) )
Bottom Right - 6 weeks ago - So there I was, in the garden on a sunny day trying to take a nice picture of myself, and there it was.. A wasp, flying towards my face :-( I basically screamed and ran and cried because they scare the hell out of me. When looking through the shameless selfies I took I found this and it just made me cry with laughter.

So there it is. Two years of Alexander Rocks' life. I really enjoyed doing this and if you like this kind of post let me know and I'll do more. Let me know what you think in the comments.
Thanks for reading guys :-)

Big Week Haul | JamPacked June Day Fourteen | AlexRocksXO

Hi guys.
So I'm back to continue JJ, so to count for the three days I've missed I have a big collective haul for you. This isn't all the stuff I have bought, but most of it is clothing and I haven't got everything I want yet to do a clothing haul. Let me know if you want to see one and I'll put one together.
So without too much of an essay length intro, here is the haul.

Clock Notebook - Wilkinsons - I can't find a link to this, maybe it's been discontinued?
I really like the design of this, I just use it to sketch out ideas and stuff for photography and blog posts.. Nothing exciting.

Animal Crossing Wild World & Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 DS - Game
I've been looking for new DS games forever, and when they were buy one get one free I couldn't resist. Animal Crossing is amazing I love love love it. Harry Potter is good, but I haven't played much of it so cant say much about it.

Tesco Hairspray
Not much to say again, best hairspray you will ever find, and its 70p. If you haven't tried then you definitely should.

Got 2 b Texture Clay - Superdrug
Again, one of the best products I've used, it's not very expensive but it really is amazing for adding texture to my flat, straight, texture-less hair. I do have to lock it in with the Tesco hairspray to keep it in place all day but yes yes amazing stuff!

So I bought all of this stuff today. The Body Shop have a sale on at the moment, and I definitely took advantage of that.. I also took out their store card for £5, and I get 10% off of all purchases and just other goodies so that was worth the £5. It also came with the Peppermint Soothing Foot Scrub, I haven't used this but I'm into foot scrubbing at the moment so a pretty cool free gift.
I also got a set of their DeoDry roll on deodorants. Which the lady said have been discontinued, so I hope I don't fall in love with them and then I can't get them.. But I also bought two fill ups for the green and pink ones so they should last a while.
Lastly I bought the Blueberry Body Butter which smells divine! It's a lovely scent but I haven't tried it out yet.

This post kind of took two different written forms didn't it? I didn't plan it that way so hopefully it isn't too confusing..
But as always thanks for reading guys. Have you tried any of these items? Do you want to try them? Leave me a comment down below and don't forget to follow me over on BlogLovin.
See you tomorrow people.

The GFC Panic..

Hi guys.

On Tuesday I actually fell asleep on the sofa at 7pm whoops.. and woke up at midnight and found it very difficult to find my way upstairs and into my bed.. But anyway, this isn't a JJ post but feeling the need to put this out there..

GFC is going. Goodbye. See you never again. For those of you who don't know what it is its the little panel in the side bar with all of my followers faces in, or any blog in fact. It is how you keep up to date on the blogger home page.

I FOUND IT | JamPacked June Day Ten | AlexRocksXO

OH MY GOD I FINALLY FOUND IT.
Hunger Magazine is a magazine published by Rankin, one of my all time favourite photographers, someone I look up to for inspiration for my photography work, and I really couldn't find this magazine anywhere.. I tried Tesco, M&S, my local shop and nowhere had it :-( Then I decided to try WH Smiths; they have the biggest selection of magazines I've seen in a while, and my local store isn't big. I couldn't see it on the racks so I asked a lady and she said she knew of it, but didn't know if they still stocked it but she went to look out back anyway. Just as I was about to leave I heard the jingle of keys, fast stomping of running footsteps and there the lady was, holding three shiny Hunger Magazines. I was so happy, I know it's a bit sad because it's a magazine but the layouts, images and just everything about it is beautiful, and £4.95 for a twice yearly (I think it may be quarterly) magazine is amazing value. I'm yet to read through it because I am so busy.
I ended up getting the cover with Grimes on, Rankin published 6 different
covers for this issue, and the one I really wanted was the Iggy Azalea one, but I love Grimes just as much so I'm still mega pleased.

If you are into photography or fashion, or simply want a new magazine to read, check out WH Smiths because if my small store had it, bigger ones must have it.
Thanks for reading guys. I always love to see your comments and talk to you all so be sure to leave a comment down below.
See you tomorrow for day 11 of Jampacked June.

P.S How fast is June going, already a third into the month.. So fast.

Ankle Grazer Trouser Wishlist | JamPacked June Day Nine | AlexRocksXO

Hi guys, welcome back for day 9 of JamPacked June.
I've been looking for some new pieces for my wardrobe and I stumbled across ankle grazer trousers and now I need a pair in every colour! Unfortunately they aren't made for men very much.. So this wishlist contains women trousers too buy hey-ho they are just snazzy trousers after all.

I really like these, just because they are basic and will go with loads of things, but you could probably make them really fun with some exciting shoes or some snazzy accessories. What do you think? Too boring..?
I actually like these for the exact same reason as the white, just a basic colour for the wardrobe for everyday.. Nothing exciting here :-(
Something exciting finally! It's probably bad that I like a pair of silver shiny trousers.. But I don't! I have no idea what I'd wear these with (I probably wouldn't but I do really really like them..) I'm sure I'd just admire them from afar..
I'm pretty sure I'm buying these, I'm on the edge about them. What do you guys think? They may just be a little too loud and probably couldn't wear them with too much. What would you wear them with?
Again I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy these, the colour of them is beautiful and bright for summer, and I can definitely see myself wearing these! Plus for under £20 I am even more tempted!

I hope you enjoyed this post. Have you spotted ankle grazers yet? What do you think? Would you or wouldn't you wear any of these? I'd love to get your opinions!
Thanks for reading guys!

Homemade Sugar Scrub DIY ▲ JamPacked June Day Seven ▲ AlexRocksXO

Hi guys! Day seven of JamPacked June! Here we goooooooooo!

I have a really really simple DIY for you guys! In my last OOTD post I said I had really sore feet after walking miles and miles with no shoes on.. One of the ways I found to help the pain was massaging the feet, so I thought while I'm doing this I might as well look up some ways to keep feet in good shape! As summer is finally here and flip flops and sandals are coming out soon!

What you need:
-1/2 cup of granulated sugar
-2-3 tbsp. almond, olive, or avocado oil
-1/2 of a lemon, juice only

It really is so simple.. Bung all the ingredients in a bowl, grab a spoon and mix together! That's it, your very own foot sugar scrub! Yes it was really that easy and cost hardly anything, plus you probably have this stuff lying around your house! This makes up to 2 scrubs depending on how much you use. It is really nice and moisturising but also scrubs away any dead skin cells and helps keep your feet looking good!
Make sure you keep it in an air tight tub between uses and do this in the bath or shower! It's so messy!

Thanks for reading guys and and as always I love to read all of your comments so keep them coming in! It really does brighten my day! My followers are on the rise and I'm very exited to where AlexRocksXO is going to take me.. I hope you all stay on the journey with me to find out!

Note: Make sure to follow me on BlogLovin', as GFC is dying and then you wont be able to keep up to date with my blog! Oh no I hear you cry!

See you guys!

Sunglasses Obsession ▲ JamPacked June Day Six ▲ AlexRocksXO

Hi guys!
I'm feeling like a new "Hi guys!" is needed, its so plain and boring and I want something really cool! Leave me some suggestions in the comments to what you think! It's already day 6 of JamPacked June and its actually going really fast! Today I'm going to share with you the restart of my obsession with sunglasses!

I was going to add links to all the sunglasses but some of the pictures were straight off of Google so I can't link those so I thought I'd just have a little chat about each pair!

I love love love all of these but my favourites are probably number 2. I have many pairs of sunglasses like this, but you can never ever ever have too many pairs of sunglasses! I love the colours of them and its just about one of the only styles that suits me when it comes to sunglasses..
Whereas style 4 doesn't suit me at all, although I love cat eye sunglasses they are not for me! I tried on pair 3 in London the other week and I just felt like the English version of PSY! (The resemblance was shocking!) Style 1 though hmmm... This is tricky! I do absolutely love these but would I wear them!? I'm not sure.
All of these pairs that I could find prices for are pretty cheap which is great!

Quite a funny little side note I wore sunglasses pretty much all summer a couple years back.. Guess who got tan lines from wearing them too much! Luckily it was subtle so it wasn't too noticeable but I'm always very wary now!

What do you guys think of sunglasses and the pairs I chose? Do you love or hate sunglasses? Let me know in the comments below!
Thanks for reading guys!

College OOTD ▲ JamPacked June Day Five ▲ AlexRocksXO

So today I just really liked what I wore to college, it's a pretty average look but I liked it so I thought I'd share it with you guys! JamPacked June day 5! Lets gooooo

NOTE: This is the most painful post I've ever posted! All for you guys! I walked about half a mile in the shoes, and they hurt too much so I ended up walking another 5 miles without shoes on and my feet are very very sore! So enjoy the post!

So this was the look I wore today, these are the most comfortable pair of jeans I own and I LOVE the colour so much; I can't wear them with too many outfits but I do try as much as I can! I think they were £15 from H&M!
The shirt was also £15 and it was from asos marketplace. It is reaaaaaaaaaaaally big and baggy but I love it!
Oh look! It's the same pair of shoes and jacket I wore to London, these are normally the things I wear everyday.. I need new jackets!

So that's it today! I hope you enjoyed this post! I got some positive comments from my last OOTD post hence a new one! Let me know what you think of my outfit in the comments!

Hi guys! Day four of JamPacked June woo!
It's payday on Friday "yesssssssssss!" and I'm already mentally spending my money! But here's just 5 things I really want to get this month!
This is a little different to a wishlist because some of the things are pretty generalised so I haven't added pictures because either I haven't found what I'm looking for or pictures aren't available!

So they are the 5 things I'm really looking to buy in June! Do you have any ideas where I can get some of the stuff? What things do you want to get in June? Let me know in the comments!
Thanks for reading guys!

Night Skin Routine ▲ JamPacked June Day Three ▲ AlexRocksXO

Hi guys!
Day three of JamPacked June woohoo! I'm loving giving you all new content everyday? Are you enjoying it?
I was going to upload a morning and evening routine but my morning basically involves me running around in a rush because I woke up late.. So this is a more chilled out night routine! I've literally just done this and taken all the pictures so tha'ts why this post is a little late..

WARNING: Contains horrendously embarrassing photos of me that I will most definitely regret uploading tomorrow.. ENJOY

Firstly I run a sink of warm water, and then jump in the shower. Tonight I used The Body Shop - Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel. Love this stuff, makes me smell and feel so fresh and clean. I then used The Body Shop - Mango Sugar Scrub on the top of both my arms. I get dry skin at the tops and this helps keep it smooth and soft. I then used Lush - Jumping Juniper Shampoo Bar to wash my hair, just one wash gets all product out of my hair. I use this 2 or 3 times a week.

Now here comes the embarrassing bit..

I first exfoliate my face with The Body Shop - Seaweed Pore Cleansing Facial Exfoliator, this is a new purchase but I really like it! It actually feels like it's making a difference to my face with the little exfoliating beads, well.. Exfoliating!
I then go in with my staple cleanser Lush - Herbalism, this is as I just said, a staple item in my cupboard. It was in my May Favourites post and will probably be in others to come, I wont go too much into it because I plan to upload a full review in a few days :-)

Out of the bathroom I'll towel dry my hair or let it air dry, then I apply Lush - Tea Tree Water, you can either spray this on directly to your face, or you can spray it onto cotton pads and cleanse your face that way. I just spray it straight onto my face and then let it air dry.
I then use my The Body Shop - Vitamin E Moisture Cream, I mentioned this in my April Favourites and I still use this everyday and it's still going! Lasts forever and is an amazing product!

Lastly I put on Nip + Fab Pistachio Body Butter, I did a full review here so you can check out what I think of this!
I then put on my PJ's and jump into bed! A nice relaxing evening routine nothing stressful or rushed!

Thanks for reading guys! Do you like this style of posting with the pictures and collages? Do you want more of my routines? Let me know what you think in the comments below!
Love all of you guys and I appreciate all of your comments!
See you tomorrow for day four of JamPacked June!

AlexanderRocksxo | Lemon and Cucumber Detox Water

Recently I was prescribed antibiotics for tonsillitis and I hate putting stuff like that into my body so I started to do some research on detoxing and came up with this little recipe for a detox water. It is so cooling and refreshing and has really helped me feel on top of my game again. It's so so simple and great for the mornings.
All you need to do is chop up about an inch of cucumber and either half or a whole lemon depending how citrusy you want it and chuck it into a bottle, fill with filtered water and refrigirate for as long as possible. you can adapt it however you want, I know mint is great in this as well as adding other fruits like berries or oranges and limes (Mint and lime.. Mojito?)
Let me know if you give this a go! What do you guys think of the name change? Let me know in the comments! If you want to keep up to date with the world of AlexanderRocksxo be sure to follow me on all the usual sites. Links are below :-)

May Favourites ▲ Jampacked June Day One ▲ AlexRocksXO

Hi guys! Welcome to the first day of Jampacked June!
I'm sorry it's a late one I've been super busy today but anyway I hope this goes up in time because I am writing this at 23:07 (and I really should be asleep) but I love you guys :-)
Here are my favourite things of May!

Lush Herbalism - This stuff is a lifesaver, I go off with other facial cleansers sometimes and try new things out, but I will always come back to this stuff, this will clear all blackheads, leaves my skin so smooth and refreshed. It is an all natural product and has crushed almonds in it, and they really help to exfoliate the skin! It's also great for keeping spots at bay! Great product and lasts forever!

Got2b iStylers Clay Texture - I absolutely love this product! The first pot I got I wasn't so fond of, it was really hard to work with but it did do the job and add texture to my "textureless" hair. So I decided to buy a new pot (which I lost) but with the third pot I bought, it was like a completely different product! It was creamy and easy to work with, added the same texture to my hair but was so much easier to do. I use this if I have just washed my hair, or it is clean, and then set it with Tesco Maximum Hold hairspray (the best hairspray you can buy) and my hair will stay up until I wash it again.

Apples - This is a bit of a weird one, but I have just had my braces off and I had my first apple in almost a year the other day and I have missed them so so so much! Bit of a random favourite but yeah, apples are great!

Lush Tea Tree Toner Water - This is a bit of a strange product, whenever I use it I will stand there with the spray ready in front of my face for about 10 seconds ready for the first, cold, wet spray; but once the first is over I spray all over my face before moisturising and it is really refreshing. It helps keep skin clear and fresh, it's great for when it is hot outside, because it cools you down instantly and is just really nice. It smells great too! Even if I don't moisturise it's still feels lovely and will leave a bit of a dewy look on your skin.

Caramel Macchiato flavour Starbucks Discoveries  - These drinks are on offer in Asda for £1 at the moment, and over half term I've had one everyday and they are so nice! The colder the better, they are sweet, but still have a coffee essence in them. Plus they don't have too many calories (so I feel less guilty for drinking one or two..) I'm going to be sad when they go back to full price because they'll probably be mega expensive like all Starbucks products are!

The Body Shop Mango Body Scrub - I have been looking for a body scrub that is exfoliating without being scratchy and irritating, I tried Sancturary Salt Scrub but I really dislike the smell of their products, but The Body Shop has the perfect one. It is a sugar body scrub not salt so it is gentle but I still feel scrubbed and soft when I use it. The smell is amazing and just, I can't even describe how amazing it smells. I paired it up with a pink grapefruit body wash and my Body Shop strawberry body butter and literally smelt like a fruit salad and I liked it.. I bought the small pot for £5 to try but I will most definitely be purchasing the full size when I run out.

That's it for my May Favourites, and posted while it is still 1st June!
I hope you guys enjoyed this post and as always I love to read your comments. Have you tried any of these products? Did you like them or didn't you?

Thanks for reading guys!
