Fudge Urban Iced Coconut Cocktail Hairspray Review | AlexRocksXO

Hi guys.
It feels like I've been gone for ages again, and for that I'm sorry. I've been working so much lately and have just been pretty busy and haven't had time to blog but I'm back now and not so busy so I thought while I have a night off I'll write a review for you!

I've always been a lover of Fudge products, my hairdresser uses them to style my hair and I've never had any problems, apart from the price. It's not massively expensive but it is a little more than I'd like to spend, so when I saw this on offer in Superdrug I had to pick it up.

It has a 5/6 hold rating on the bottle, and sometimes I really agree with this, and other times I definitely don't. Some days I'll use it in the morning and my hair stays up and set all day, and other times it will fall out within a couple of hours. It really does baffle me! I definitely wouldn't agree with the "48 hour hold" statement on the can, I think I could get 8 hours max hold from this on a good day.
The smell is pretty intense and if you don't like coconut I wouldn't purchase this. The smell doesn't choke me like some other hairspray's do but it still smells nice. They sell another hairspray that smells of Raspberries and Vanilla I believe (don't hold me to that) but it had a lower hold rating and I generally go for the highest I can get, but I may try that out just to see what it is like, it sounds like it smells good anyway.

With the price tag of £4.99 the not so good hold of the hairspray I probably wont be repurchasing this, which is a massive shame because I really thought it would be the perfect hairspray for me. If you want to purchase this product it's available here.

Thanks a lot for reading guys and again sorry for my absence, but I will try my best to keep this page flowing with new posts for you. See you next time.

Tea Tree Wonder Water | AlexRocksXO

Hey guys.
It seems the higher I get into my teenage years the oilier and spot prone my skin gets.. So any chance I get to keep spots and oil at bay I jump at. Bacteria on the skin can cause spots; cleaning your face in the morning and at night is definitely going to keep it at bay but throughout the day I always tend to touch my face and sometimes with non clean hands and end up transferring bacteria onto my face that I really don't want. I thought that a 5 step cleansing routine wasn't very handy for the middle of the day, so I started to read up on ways to kill bacteria and I found tea tree oil.
I researched a little more online and found a great recipe for Tea Tree Water.

What you need;
- Small Spray Bottle
- Tea Tree Oil
- Mineral Water

All you need to do is fill up the spray bottle with the water and then add in 8-10 drops of the oil, then shake it up!

It's that simple, and it has quite a few uses too.. Mist your makeup brushes before you apply you're makeup, this will kill any leftover bacteria from the last time you used them and prevent spreading the bacteria back onto your face. Mist your pillowcases before you sleep. You're pillowcases are probably full of bacteria, and as you rest your face on them every night the bacteria can go straight back onto your face and cause spots.. And we don't want that! Finally, mist you're face throughout the day to stop the spread of bacteria. Can you think of any other ways to use this? Let me know!

I've been using this so much and it was so cheap to make. Let me know if you try this out guys and I'll see you soon!
